Nevermind Baby: a musical collaboration

Tue May 26, 2009, 3:34 PM
So, I'm officially a lyricist. The very talented Sian Cook (youtuber Midnight667) set my words to her fantastic music. So, here it is folks:

Ariel/Little Mermaid cosplay for sale

Sat Apr 11, 2009, 11:40 AM
Why hello there.

My Ariel costume no-longer fits me and I feel it's such a shame for it just to be sitting in my wardrobe when it could go to a good home and get worn by someone. I would just keep it, but I'm unlikely to fit into it again. I am selling the top and tail only (wig/shoes/tights not included). It has only been worn a couple of times and has been washed.

Bust fits up to 36ins (as pictured), but would more comfortably fit 33-35ins. Hips I think were 35ins at the time, but again would probably fit 32-34ins slightly better. Waist was 30ins, but due to an ironing incident that probably doesn't matter, the top is now cropped to just under the shells because I had the iron on too high, so cool iron only or steam in the shower because it's made of melty. I'm about 5ft 3ins, but I recon it'd actually fit someone taller than me better.

I was thinking of asking £80 for it (not sure how much postage would be, probably £3-5?) purely because it took me such a long time to make, but am willing to negotiate. May need some small repairs(caught most of them I think), but should be fine for immediate wear.

If nobody here wants it I will probably advertise it elsewhere then put it up on ebay.

Poor Mort has never got a Job, but when Death chooses him as his apprentice he thinks his luck has changed! However, Mort discovers that working for an ‘Anthropomorphic Personification’ who ushers souls to the next world isn’t all its cracked up to be, especially when Death decides to take a holiday.

Mort is the 4th in the series of Discworld Novels by Terry Pratchett and is adapted for the stage by Steven Briggs. Royalty money from this show will go to the Orangutan Foundation and 10% of the proceeds are going to Alzheimer’s Society.

LIP Theatre Company has an outstanding tradition of putting on high quality amateur dramatic productions. Also will be returning to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the (lucky) 13th consecutive year in August 2009.

D-con

Tue Dec 30, 2008, 10:06 AM
EDIT: Free Entry guys! Runs from 2-7pm.

Advertising times. The 28th of February 2009 sees the first ever D-con (Dundee-con) at the University of Dundee's student union. It's an anime/arts con and there are still some free places for exhibiting artists, etc.

Apparently there's been some interest from Real-time Worlds, which is itself Dundee based. But, I'm not sure of the details really as I'm mainly part-exhibitor, part-flyer monkey. All the currently avaiable information is on the website.

Events so far include:

• Opening set by 'Sarah Coloso'
• Tutorial Sessions
• Movie Screenings on Floor 5
• Cosplay Competition
• Collaborative Original Artwork Raffle
• And a ticketed afterparty.
